Veal, Tomato and Mushrooms

This a realtivly light dish which is high in antioxidants, protein and a good source of carbs.

You will only need 1 pan and a pot.

Ingredients

  • Large tomatoes

  • Veal (or beef) steaks

  • Mushrooms

  • Rice

Method

  1. Boil water and add 1/4-1/2 cup of rice to a pot. Chop the tomatoes in half.

  2. Add the tomatoes to a hot pan and season with salt and pepper.

  3. After 1-2 mins, add the mushrooms (chopped) and cook for another 2mins.

  4. Place into a bowl for later.

  5. Allow the pan to back up and add the veal (seasoned generously with salt and pepper) and allow to sear for 2 mins before flipping and repeat.

  6. Take the veal off of the pan and allow to rest. Add the cooked tomatoes and mushrooms back into the hot pan for 30s-1min. Add a dash of soy sauce. The rice should be nearly ready.

  7. Finally, enjoy.
